This is a quick installment of Cool Fit Alert. I did not plan on revisiting Ronin Warriors, an after-school TV favorite, but I came across it on Prime Video and because “nostalgia is a seductive liar” I watched The Legend of the Inferno Armor OVA in all its glorious, what-I-assume-to-be-288p resolution. Was this a good use of time? No! But Kento, the burly oaf archetype of the samurai quintet, sports this fantastic yellow sweatshirt with text that reads “MILK BALL” in all caps:

I have no clue why they decided to animate him with this inexplicable attire and I have no interest in learning why. That’s the beauty of pre-millennium anime, baby. Though if I ever take up knitting, I know what my first project will be.
